Your Water Pump

YOUR WATER PUMP supplies cooling water to your motor to keep it running cool. A worn or damaged water pump can allow your motor to overheat. Severe damage can occur from overheating. A good water pump will keep your engine running cool so it will last a long time.

REBUILD or REPLACE your water pump every year.
Some manufacturers say you can wait up to 3 years to replace your water pump.
We have found that this can result in premature overheats and if you wait 3 years you might find it very difficult to service your water pump because of corrosion.

USE original factory water pumps kits.
Less expensive aftermarket kits are not the same.
Original factory Mercury Marine kits are made of the highest quality components.
Do not "skimp" when it comes to your engine's cooling system.
Buy original factory parts and go boating with confidence.
